Today we're sharing two more talks on #FamilyMatters from the perspective of #Daughters given by Maddie Grace Brown and Regina Simmons.
We are familiar with the scripture to "Honor your father and mother." These two talks help us understand the practical side of these wise words. Honor is more than just simply obedience.

This past Sunday we invited ten emerging leaders from our church to share from their stories on #FamilyMatters. Today we're sharing two talks from the perspective of #Fathers given by Jon Mikesell and Brian Barker.

We all have had different experiences with fathers, some good, some challenging, or maybe even by becoming a father ourselves. No matter your experience, you have a Heavenly Father who LOVES and CARES for you.

This past Sunday, Pastor Dan Stallbaum finished the #BESTOFseries by bringing back the topic, #THEREISMORE. If we are going to DO more, BE More, LOVE more, SERVE more, we need to have better administration in our lives. We need to manage what God has given us, and by doing this He will bless us with more.

We are called to light the way for the world, but sometimes we feel unequipped or underprepared. Many of us aren't doing anything significant because we don't believe we should or don't believe we can. We blame our circumstances, our jobs or our difficulties why we don't. In the message this week, Pastor Jonathan Pearson teaches us to live out our calling as life happens.

As we continue in the #BESTOFseries, Pastor Ronny Russell with Live Again Ministries, Inc., brought back one of our most popular series, #LIKEJESUS. During the message, Ronny reminded us that in order to truly be like Jesus, we need to LOVE like Jesus, SACRIFICE like Jesus and FORGIVE like Jesus.

As we start the #BESTOFseries, Pastor Shane Olsen brings back the series on #CHOICES. Throughout the message, he explores the tension between entitlement or gratitude. ENTITLEMENT places distance between you and the Father, but GRATITUDE aligns your heart with the Father.

Who’s that person that was outside of your own family but welcomed you into
theirs? Chances are that person played a big role in your life. Family is a powerful
thing, and God wants us all to be a part of a family. During this message, we look
at the film INSTANT FAMILY as Pastor KEVIN SIMMONS points us to a new kind of
family, a Jesus-centered family. What if we all examined what it would look to
open up your family to others? Chances are we could change the world!

Have you ever thought to yourself, “There’s no way God could use someone like me from a place like this.” As we see in this short, but simple message, people thought that the setting for Jesus’ story disqualified Him from greatness. During this message Pastor Kevin Simmons helps us see that perhaps what we’ve thought was a disadvantage is actually an advantage!

As we continue in AT THE MOVIES ’19 we look at the film Toy Story 4. Maybe you’re a little like one of the characters in this film. Perhaps what you think of yourself and say to yourself isn’t reflective of the great treasure placed inside you. During this message Pastor Kevin Simmons helps us explore how we can see ourselves in light of who God sees us as.

Each year, our student ministry (Vortex Tribe) takes a few days to go to the beach. During this time, they focus on building relationships with Jesus, other students, leaders, and our lead Pastor Kevin Simmons. We are thankful for the students who attend each year. This podcast gives you a chance to hear personal stories from our students and the impact this trip had on them this year.
