Labels | How To Overcome Evil

Evil isn’t just something “out there”—it’s something we must all confront both in the world and in ourselves. Proverbs and Romans remind us that overcoming evil doesn’t come from fighting harder or repaying wrongs but by surrendering fully to God. Through Jesus, we overcome evil not with more rebellion, but with goodness, humility, and submission to His authority.

We all have a little bit of “fool” in us. During this message, Pastor Kevin is going to teach through Proverbs 14 and how it shows that foolishness comes when we let our appetites—like comfort, control, or attention—lead us instead of God.
